Grammy Award-Winning Bluegrass Icon
A man who needs no introduction, Del McCoury’s accolades include nine IBMA Entertainer of the Year awards, more SPGMA awards than one can count, a Grand Ole Opry induction, two Grammys for Best Bluegrass Album in 2005 and 2014, as well as double-digit Grammy nominations. Along with sons Ronnie and Rob, McCoury has headlined music festivals from Bonnaroo
to DelFest, their own namesake. With audiences numbering in tens of thousands, their admirers are as diverse as country-rock icon Steve Earle and jam band royalty Phish. After more than a half century of bringing bluegrass bliss to the stage, this legendary icon is still as relevant as ever.
