Established in 1982, the Friends of the Hoover Public Library work with the library staff to support the mission and goals of the library. The Friends provide support for the library's projects, activities and acquisitions, as well as focus public attention on library services, facilities and needs.
The Friends host a biannual book sale in addition to operating the Friends Bookstore which serves the community year-round.
Your membership not only provides a valuable financial resource for the library, but also provides the opportunity to be a bookstore volunteer, be involved in the leadership of the organization and more!
